Dr Endean Tan is currently a collegiate member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of London and Edinburgh, and a member of the Singapore Medical Association.. He is Director of the Tan Tock Seng Hospital Clinical Communications Course, lead tutor in Medical Ethics (Residency Programme), core tutor with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Senior House Tutor with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Senior Instructor at the Simulation and Integrated Medical Training Advancement Centre, and is also a Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor.

Dr Endean Tan wears many hats in his multiple roles as a clinician, educator and administrator. As a Consultant specialising in Internal Medicine with an interest in Acute Medicine, he is responsible for the diagnosis and management of patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings, and is in the process of establishing a new medical service for Tan Tock Seng Hospital. As a medical educator, he has served as a clinical tutor to many students, nursing colleagues and post-graduate clinicians, and hopes that his love for helping others figure life and medicine out will continue to drive this passion. As a medical administrator, he fortifies the framework for good medicine and good people to thrive in. He has looked forward every year to addressing NHMed and regards it as one of the highest honours he has had bestowed on him.
